Definitions

  • We / us / Fruzo - Fruzo BV, the maker of everything you order here.
  • You / your / customer - the person who orders through our webshop.
  • Subscription - an ongoing product that you receive automatically.
  • Product - all food products that we offer through the webshop

1. Order & pay
You can order through our webshop. After placing your order, you'll receive an email confirmation. You can pay securely via iDEAL, credit card, or Bancontact, among other methods. All prices include VAT.
Please note: an order is only final after payment has been made. If something goes wrong (for example, your payment is unsuccessful), you can always email us at
 info@fruzo.nl .

2. Subscriptions
At Fruzo, you choose whether to place a single order or subscribe. With a subscription, you'll automatically receive your product at your chosen time.
  • You are not committed to anything: you can pause, postpone or cancel at any time.
  • You can arrange this via your account or by sending us a message.
  • We will remind you in advance by email about your upcoming delivery ( 7 days in advance).
  • Has your order already been processed or shipped? Then you can no longer stop it. In that case, please email us – we're happy to help.
  • Your payment will be automatically debited via the chosen payment method.
3. Shipping & Delivery
We work with a shipping partner for shipping. After placing your order, you'll receive a track & trace link. You'll usually receive your package within 1 to 3 business days.

4. Returns
Are you not satisfied? That can happen
  • You can return your order within 14 days of receipt.
  • Only unopened products are eligible for return.
  • Please email us for return instructions ( info@fruzo.nl ).
  • The return shipping costs are for you
  • After receipt and inspection, we will refund you the purchase amount (excl. shipping costs).
Please note: we cannot accept returns of opened products.

5. Product information
The reusable water bottle included in the packaging is indicated as never to be used with hot or carbonated liquids, nor should it be microwaved. Smoothies should be consumed within 24 hours of preparation. Refrigerate only after preparation, otherwise the smoothie may ferment, making it unsuitable for consumption and weakening the bottle (risk of explosion).

Fruzo cannot be held liable for any use that is not in accordance with the instructions.

We provide you with the most honest and transparent information possible, but the information on our website does not constitute medical advice. If you are unsure whether a product is suitable for you—for example, if you are pregnant, taking medication, or have a medical condition—always consult a doctor or specialist before using the product.

6. Liability

  1. If Fruzo should be liable, then this liability is limited to what is stated in this provision.
  2. Fruzo is not liable for damage of any nature whatsoever arising from Fruzo's use of incorrect and/or incomplete information provided by or on behalf of the Consumer.
  3. If Fruzo is liable for any damage, Fruzo's liability is limited to a maximum of the invoice value of the order, or at least to that part of the order to which the liability relates.
  4. Fruzo's liability is in any case always limited to the amount of the payment from its insurer in the event concerned and with a maximum of the amount covered and paid out under Fruzo's liability insurance.
  5. Fruzo is only liable for direct damages, losses, or costs, etc., resulting from a serious shortcoming attributable to Fruzo, insofar as this shortcoming demonstrably results from intentional misconduct or intentional recklessness. Fruzo is never liable for business damage, consequential damage, and/or indirect damages, losses, or costs, etc.
  6. Direct damage is understood to mean exclusively the reasonable costs of determining the cause and extent of the damage, insofar as the determination relates to damage within the meaning of these terms and conditions, any reasonable costs incurred to ensure that Fruzo's defective performance complies with the agreement, insofar as these can be attributed to Fruzo and reasonable costs incurred to prevent or limit damage, insofar as the Consumer demonstrates that these costs have led to a limitation of direct damage as referred to in these general terms and conditions.
  7. Fruzo is never liable for indirect damage, including consequential damage, lost profits, lost savings and damage due to business stagnation.
  8. The limitations of liability contained in this article do not apply if the damage is due to intent or gross negligence on the part of Fruzo or its managerial subordinates.
  9. All claims the Consumer has against Fruzo expire one year after the date of the incident on which the claim is based.

7. Privacy policy
Your information is safe with us. We only use your information to process your order correctly and (only if you wish) to keep you informed via email. You can read all about this in our privacy policy.

8. Intellectual property
Everything on our website—from text to images and packaging—is the property of Fruzo. You may not copy or use it without our prior written permission.

9. Changes
We may update these terms and conditions if anything changes in our services or practices. The most recent version can always be found on this page. If you have a subscription, we'll notify you by email of any significant changes.
